LIGHTHOUSE
IMMERSIVE VIDEO ART INSTALLATION NOW EXHIBITING, FEB 14-23, 2025
Lighthouse is a new immersive video art installation by Holly Danger, created site-specific for the Esplanade Pavilion at the Ignite Art & Light Festival 2025, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
The perimeter of the pavilion will be lined with thousands of strings and illuminated with projections from the inside. As you step into the exhibit, a vibrant immersive environment of Danger’s dreamy color, shapes and patterned collages swirl around you in 360 degrees, synchronized to an original soundtrack by musician, Jeff Schram.
In this installation, Danger lights a spark, inviting viewers to ignite their creative light within. Traditionally lighthouses shine their light to show the path home, and I want to make a connection to the audience that WE are the lighthouse for ourselves and each other.
This work is inspired by my mission statement as an artist, “I project light into the world”.
A Thousand times forever
VIDEO ART INSTALLATION
A Thousand Times Forever is a video installation inspired by Danger's daily meditation practice. Thousands of strings are hung overhead and illuminated with projections that transport you into tranquility. The work explores the balance of movement, stillness, and the space between.
The work has been featured at the Mad Arts Museum for the Ignite Light & Art Festival and the ART06870 Gallery in 2024.
MOONBASE

Let in, LET GO AT THE BRUCE MUSEUM
IMMERSIVE VIDEO ART INSTALLATION
Let in, Let go, was on view at the Bruce Museum April 27 to Sunday, May 30, 2021. This work explores the synchronization of video, art, light, and sound, and how it relates to emotion, connection, and experience. The imagery was inspired by elements found in nature, and discovering a digital reinvention of their form, color, and symmetry.
The work is designed to hold you in the present moment and take you on a journey, offering a sanctuary in this space and time. Let in, Let go invites the viewer to take a respite from the outside world, quiet the mind, and go inward.
